The Beatles: Strawberry Fields Forever Site Revived By Charity

The former Salvation Army children’s home in Liverpool, where John Lennon played as a child, is to be re-developed by the charity.

Today the charity launched a public appeal for funds – 50 years to the day in 1967 since Strawberry Fields Forever was released in the UK as a double-A side single with Penny Lane.
