Norm Gregory Radio Scrapbook: Pat O’Day, KJR-FM, 1995

As I have mention before KJR-FM benefited from Pat O’Day’s presence the first several years of the reemergence of 95.7 FM. Pat had unmatched experience and success at the original KJR-AM in the 1960s and ’70s. Of course, I had been fan of Pat’s air work for years. My personal relationship with Pat started in 1967.

During the summer of 1995 I invited Pat to talk to the KJR-FM air staff about being a successful air talent.

Below are recordings of these meetings. The quality, and editing, is not the best. If I knew then that these tapes were going to used here I would have paid closer attention to levels, etc.
