Norm Gregory Radio Scrapbook: My Dan Quayle Joke, KOMO 1990

in 1990, KOMO, Radio Scrapbook

It didn’t take long for me to realize that at KOMO AM-1000 there was a much different audience that I had at KJR or KZOK. KOMO listeners were older, more conservative and a significant number were in upper management in business if not owners. I got in trouble mostly for taking shots/jokes at activities of local businesses. I didn’t do much in the way of political humor and unfortunately I don’t remember what I said to cause this reaction from a KOMO listener in November 1990.

The Doxie scanner was used to create this digital copy of a musty clipping.
