Norm Gregory Radio Scrapbook: KZOK’s ‘Your Mother Won’t Like It’ 1976

A Vic Stredicke radio column in the Seattle Times, February 29, 1976 reporting on a new KZOK Sunday night feature. Your Mother Won’t Like It broke all the rules and proved to be very popular . . . if, at times, in my opinion, almost unlistenable! Ha.

Stredicke also mentions the whereabouts of former KJR personalities Kevin O’Brien, Scotty Brink and Pat O’Day.

The Doxie scanner used to create this digital copy of a musty clipping.

KZOK was so far ahead of its time that it’ll take a hundred years for holographic radio to match that creativity spawned in the 1970’s. Good work.
