Norm Gregory Radio Scrapbook: KPUG, Summer 1967

in 1967, KPUG, Radio Scrapbook

My first full time radio job was at KBRC, Mt Vernon, WA. I was there for only six weeks playing Top 40 hits in the evenings (morning was mostly country; mid-days MOR music). It was exciting to land at a full time Top 40 like KPUG (almost full time; the station signed off at midnight). These photos were taken when I was doing evenings at the Bellingham (WA) station. Looks like I am on the phone taking another request for Bobbie Gentry’s “Ode To Billy Joe.”

The Doxie scanner was used to create these digital copies of two musty black & white photos.
