I was KJR-FM (95.7, Seattle) PD for a little over three years. (3 years, 2 months, 13 days . . . if you are counting.) It was an exciting time. Inventing a new format from the ground up. And getting some damn good 25-54 adult ratings. Here are some relevant documents. [ Click on any image to get a big view ]

The Doxie scanner was used to create these digital copies of some yellowed FAXs.

We did a similar 70’s format on KXL-FM in 1995-96 that zoomed upwards in the ratings. Tight jingles and format with listener bits (courtesy Charlie Brown’s Vox Pro software), it was fun to execute.

Nice bonus structure for ya there Norm. Too bad that couldn’t continue. The last gasp of live radio.

I don’t think I missed the top 5 but once. Those were the only two bonus memos I could find. Doesn’t seem like much now . . but almost 20 years it was pretty good.
