Norm Gregory Radio Scrapbook: KJR Bookcover, 1974

by Norm Gregory on August 13, 2011

in 1974, KJR, Radio Scrapbook

All I can remember was that I had a broken right collar bone (having recently fallen from my bicycle leading almost a thousand KJR listeners to Spokane’s Expo ’74). So this photo was taken (with my right arm sling well hidden) in July 1974. Very soon after I left KJR.

The Doxie scanner used to create this digital copy of a colorful book cover.

What is going on here? I have been digging through My Collection of photos, news clippings and other documents from my 35 years in radio. The Collection can be sorted:

By radio station: KPUG • KJRB • KJR • KZOK • KQFM • KOMO • KJR-FM

By year: 1961 • 1963 • 1967 • 1968 • 1969 • 1970 • 1971 • 1972
1973 • 1974 • 1975 • 1976 • 1977 • 1978 • 1979 • 1980 • 1981 • 1994

Reelradio.com today had added KJR jingles as well as the special on their 59 birthday. I think this is an excellent site and is worthy of our support. Top 4o radio history being preserved. (think of how much we spend on satelite radio or cable?)

I agree about ReelRadio.com Ed. I have been a long time supporter . . . and not just because they have a couple of my airchecks in their collection.
