My KJR-FM Martin Luther King Jr Birthday Message

MLK KJRFMFor several years in the mid 1990s KJR-FM ran this “promo” this time of the year to commemorate Dr. King’s birthday.

KJR-FM’s ace production director, Chad Douglas gets a lot of the credit for this work. I wrote it (and voiced it) but Chad blended it all together in Pro-Tools and the result was wonderful. As I recall this MLK spot won some sort of public service award. But that isn’t important. It’s the message that is important.

By the way, Dr. King visited Seattle only once.
