Free Bassist Andy Fraser Dies At 62
Bassist Andy Fraser, who co-wrote Free’s 1970 summer hit All Right Now, has died in California aged 62.

The musician died on Monday and he had been fighting cancer and Aids, according to an official statement regarding his death. ● More: BBC News

Here’s a good test. Can your Amazon thingy play the 1970 mono radio 45 rpm edit of “All right now”?

Wow, Andy Fraser began with Free at the tender young age of 15 (according to Wikipedia). A great group. I came across one of their albums (Songs of Yesterday) on CD recently. Some incredibly clear and well recorded stuff on it.

I think we played the five minute original version at KJR. There was a shorter edit? Everything was mono back then.
