Is “The Rover” from the new Jimmy Page re-mastered Led Zep release? It sounded pretty good, even thru the video.

Are all the speakers self-contained (left, right and subwoofer) in the Alexus unit? Has she ever made a grave mistake, like suddenly starting up in the middle of the night?

Yes to ‘The Rover’ question. I uploaded all the Zeppelin (and Beatles**) albums . . they are not carrier by Amazon Prime. By the way, I am tending lately to go to Amazon for all media, TV, Movies, Music, etc. I have alway been an iTunes guy. But my Amazon stuff can be accessed by many more devices.

((** Because of my inclusion of ‘No Reply” YouTube muted the entire video! Interestingly, their copyright detection program didn’t pick up ‘The Rover.’ ))

And yes, the omni directional speakers (and everything else) is in the cylinder. The sound is pretty good.

Only the word ‘Alexa’ will wake the Echo up. Words like ‘Alexia” and ‘Syria’ do get ‘her’ attention.

‘She’ makes mistakes and sometimes can’t understand what I say. As an example she has a particular way of saying ‘Sleater-Kinney’ . . . she doesn’t understand my pronunciation and I have a hard time replicating her way of saying it. So I put the Sleater-Kinney songs I want to hear in a playlist called ‘Olympia Girls’ . . . problem solved! Ha.

Her biggest BooBoo was when she told me Mel Brooks had died in 2009!

By the way, Amazon support is amazing. I get responses within the hour . . and have often been invited to call a special number.

Here’s an example of how serious they are in developing The Echo.

Echo Invite

I waited to long to respond . . Or I am to old . . I didn’t hear from them.

The little lady does pretty good following your commands, lol.

Mel Brooks is very much alive. He had a great appearance on Bill Maher’s show recently, http://youtu.be/fOivdfoMCyQ
