I was drinking Ripple while Neil Diamond was singing about “Crackling’ Rosie”.

An ode to a bottle became his first number one song. The other 2: Song Sung Blue and You Don’t Bring Me Flowers…

Do you remember the name of O’Day’s secretary? Who sat at a desk just outside his office. “Crackling Rosie” reminds me of her… She always commented on how much she liked the song.

Is there any thing in the works that a station in Seattle going to the 60s?

I am afraid music from the ’60s will be very hard to find on a radio station in Seattle .. . or in just about any major market. KBSG dumped oldies almost ten years ago. Wonder how long the ’70s music will survive.
