The Girl Can Rock

So I am watching HBO’s The 25th Anniversary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concert recorded over a couple nights in October, 2009, at Madison Square Garden. During U2′s set Bono introduces Will.I.Am and Fergie from the Black Peas. The Edge starts the very familiar riff of Gimme Shelter with a distinct U2 spin . . . out dances Mick . . . and I am thinking this could be interesting. I was not prepared for Stacey Ferguson in full rock mode. I have never heard her sing rock. She killed me. If she had been around in the ’70s she would have been a huge rock ‘n roll star.
