I thought the opening scenes of Pirate Radio caught the spirit and fun of this new film. I wrote more about it yesterday. Let know if you are interested in seeing the movie.

“Pirate Radio” for all of its excess…won me over….if you played the hits in the 60s it’s a must see

I found the camaraderie among the air staff appealing. And, even though not depicted with any depth, the different approaches of the air personalities brought into focus something we forget in these days of cookie cutter jocks. KJR in the ’60s had wide variety of presenations from Tom Murphy and Lan Roberts to Larry Lujack and Dick Curtis.
