Have you heard? Steely Dan is coming to Seattle’s Paramount Theatre in October for two shows.

On Monday, Oct 12, the band will perform 1977′s Aja in its entirety, along with “other greatest hits.” (Songs you probably know from Aja: “Deacon Blues,” “Peg.”)

On Tuesday, Oct 13, the band will perform 1976′s The Royal Scam in its entirety, along with “other greatest hits.” (Songs you might know from Royal Scam: “Kid Charlemagne”? “The Fez”?) ● More from: The Stranger

“The Royal Scam.” Credited as Steely Dan’s most cynical and guitar-heavy album. In my mind, the finest work in their catalog, standing on equal footing with Supertramp’s “Crime of The Century” or Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon.” This is really the highest praise which I can offer to an album.
