Gary seems to think one of these songs is by the Flamingos. He says: One of the songs: “Tenderly” was done by the Flamingos I believe.
Which song was it?
Track 6?
Or Track 11?
Sounds like Track 11 to me. As far as I can tell this song got no chart action.
Here’s what we have now . . . down to one.

For some reason I thought the Flamingos were white . . . I get them mixed up with the Skyliners. They both were big in 1959.
Track 6 is:
“I Want a Love I Can See” — by the Temptations (1963)
Track 11 IS “Tenderly” - done by Billy Ward &The Dominoes (1954)
Okay . . on the Temptations
But for “Tenderly” . . . . it doesn’t sound like Billy Ward to me . . a little to smooth and uptown. The research goes on . . .
Thanks for the feedback/input.

**heh, what threw me off was 50’sGROUP recordings;
Billy Ward and Dominoes also did a version also…
Oh crap I knew this might happen. I am not really any good at these song games . . . because I have a VERY limited perspective/recollection.
I did listen to ten seconds of your mystery song. . . I have no idea who/what it is . . . and there no chance I would ever be able to guess it. it’s not something I’d be a fan of.
Sorry to rain on your parade . . .
Mystery tune is:
Twiggy’s “Zoo De Zoo Zong”…from 1971
(a rare BELL Records 45 single)
KJR Channel 95 used to play it often…recall?

Nope. Maybe you have me confused with someone who was listening in 1971.
That could be…! I believe it’s from THIS movie:

*notice the ‘LP-only spindle slot’ in this pressing
from Great Britain -
- the American single from Bell had the 45′er size…
Don’t blame me for the British 45 photo. You supplied the URL.
no blame….no rain…
