Hey Norm, is there any chance that you will make your KJR aircheck CD available to vid cast fans such as myself. I would love a copy.
Thanks for the vidcast today. The weather was amazing as you showed. I’ve been sick as a dog since Wednesday so the sunshine and 50+ degrees today was just what the doctor ordered.
Tikey
Stormin!
How you been. I was at KZOK with you when the dinosaurs roamed the earth. Music research kid.
Now i’m 50, what happend to all the time?
Anyway, I’m helping NSCCollege out collecting air checks from Alamader DJ’s like you.
I take the reel to reels and cassettes at no cost to you, digitize in wave form and post them on the site Rainier Radio.Com. I was working with Ross Davis who retired this month, John Sherifie has taken his seat. Anyway are you able to help me on this task to preserve our northwest heritage of what live radio was like.
I myself donated over 125,000 thousand titles of Old time radio. I picked up Pat O’ Days stuff at his house and restored all that. Took six weeks. I restored all the boxes of stuff for Chris Wedes as well. John Maynards goodies, mine from KYYX and KKMI, Dan Packards.
I have all the KOL Jingles, and several jingle packages from KJR. Remember the squire shop peechie of the KJR staff? I am getting that digitized also. Dick Curtis donated some stuff to me that he had. And the list goes on. I saw Terry Mc Manis at Maynards golf open, I guess hw had a wealth of stuff too.
Weather it is digitized or still on cassette I will restore the old recordings and get you a wave copy as a courtesy and a thank you for donating to Rainierradio.net did I say com before? Whoops.
A senior moment. Please e me back]
Dan Towey. Dan2e.com is my bread & butter. Not a lot of butter, but it keeps me alive.
Thanks Norm.
